easyHotel Paddington
Renovated for Comfort, Powered by Sustainability

Sections Group is proud to announce the completion of a £1 million renovation at easyHotel Paddington, reinforcing our commitment to providing smart, affordable stays — while championing environmental responsibility.

Located in the heart of London’s vibrant Paddington district, easyHotel Paddington has undergone a major upgrade, focusing not only on guest comfort but also on significantly reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint.

Key Sustainability Upgrades:

• Heating System Upgrade: The outdated natural gas heating system was replaced with a state-of-the-art VRV electric system.

• Old system emissions: 10,980 kg CO₂/year

• New VRV system emissions: 3,264 kg CO₂/year

Result: ~7.7 tonnes of CO₂ saved annually through more efficient heating.

• Lighting System Upgrade

All traditional halogen bulbs were replaced with high-efficiency LED lighting.

• Old system emissions: 2,986 kg CO₂/year

• New LED system emissions: 684 kg CO₂/year

Result: ~2.3 tonnes of CO₂ saved annually through optimized lighting.

 Impact

Thanks to these initiatives, easyHotel Paddington now saves approximately 10 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year— the equivalent of planting over 450 trees annually. These improvements not only reduce operational costs but also deliver a better, greener experience for our guests.

A New Standard for Smart Travel

The extensive renovation has transformed easyHotel Paddington into a more energy-efficient, sustainable, and comfortable choice for travelers seeking quality and affordability in central London. Guests can enjoy enhanced climate control, improved lighting ambiance, and a property that cares about its impact on the planet.

At Sections Group, we believe that affordable travel and sustainability can go hand-in-hand and easyHotel Paddington is leading the way.
